Ace Tone | PS-1000 |
Description | The Ace Tone PS-1000 is a monophonic synthesizer released in 1975. It looks very similar to the Roland SH-3A but technically it is different under the hood. Its a single VCO with 3 waveforms, VCA, VCF and an LFO. The unit also offers an external audio input, a modulation input, and noise generator. The synth, external audio, and noise generator can all be mixed together from the control panel with 3 separate sliders. The PS-1000 is housed in a case with removable lid. |

| Velocity | As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. | Aftertouch | Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel. |
